Mr. James Allen Dickerson, son of the late Mrs. Marie Jennings Dickerson and Mr. Jessie Dickerson, was born in Bamberg County on October 28, 1955. He was called home on September 16, 2023.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Bertha M. Dickerson in Bamberg County.

Mr. Dickerson retired and spent his time restoring classic cars and sharing his knowledge and skills in automotive mechanics.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jessie James Dickerson, and Jessie Willie Dickerson.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His wife, Bertha Dickerson; His daughter, Jasmine Dickerson; Four sisters: Willie Mae McManus, Jessie Lee (Larry) Cann, Jessie Bell (Harry) Middleton, and Jessie Mae Dickerson; One brother, Jesse Dickerson Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
