On August 3, 2022 Mr. James
Edward Sutton, III transcended
to his final resting place. He was
born June 4, 1956 in Barnwell
County to the late James and Azzie
Lee Jackson-Sutton.
James was educated in the
public schools of Blackville,
South Carolina. At an early age,
he was baptized at Mount Zion Baptist Church of Lees, South Carolina.
He was employed for thirty-six years by Lower State Gas Company
in Denmark, South Carolina.
James was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Those left to cherish his memory are: a devoted wife, Joyce Banks
Sutton; three sons, Terrell, James and Tarvarius; three daughters,
Shaquetta, Shannon and Demetrius; a sister Bobbie (Ruby) Johnson;
a brother-in-law, Stephen (Marinda) Saxton; thirteen grandchildren;
one great-grand; three aunts, Lugenia, Mary Jane and Retha Bell; four
nieces, Shawn, Latwan, Rita and Latice as well as a host of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
