Janice Helen Samuels- Williams was born on February 20, 1953 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Willie Samuels and Estelle Sanders Samuels.  She departed this life on August 20, 2019 at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, FL.  Janice was raised in Denmark, South Carolina.

She attended school in Denmark and graduated from Denmark-Olar High School.  Janice's smile would light up the room.  Her family and friends meant the world to her.  She was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.  She enjoyed cooking, reading and listening to music, during her spare time.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Alonzo "Zo" Samuels and one sister, Joyce Lynne Samuels.

Those left to cherish her fond memories are her loving husband, Larry Williams of the home; two sisters, Stella E. Porter of Columbia, SC and Ada S. (Donald) Akins of Bamberg, SC; three brothers, Willie L. Samuels, Clarence Samuels and Michael J. Samuels of Columbia, SC; an aunt, sisters-in-law, Annette Black, Luchrisha Williams, Emma Simmons, Laura (Andy) Johnson, Frankie Land (Isiah) Richardson; an aunt, Sarah Wallace of Barnwell, SC and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
