Jerome Daniels Sr., was a native of Blackville, South Carolina and was the fourth of nine children born to the late Charlie, and Georgia Daniels.  Sr. Jerome Daniels Sr. entered into an eternal rest on January 8, 2025 at 11:07 pm at Bayonne Medical Center.

During his early childhood, Jerome became a member of Shrub Branch Baptist Church in Blackville, South Carolina and attended Kelly Edwards High School in Williston, SC.

Later in life, Jerome relocated to Jersey City, New Jersey to stay with his sister, Evelyn Walker and her children. Jerome worked for Duncan, in South Carolina as well as McAfee, Tinyville Learning Center, and New Community Health Care located in New Jersey.

Jerome married Ellabell Isaac and to this union they were blessed with Jerome Daniels Jr. and Claudette Daniels.

Jerome leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Ellabell Daniels; his son, Jerome Daniels Jr.; his daughters, Claudette Daniels, Clara Hughes, Wendy Tyler, Martha Pickens, as well as fifteen grandchildren. Jerome is also survived by his siblings, Elsie E. Daniels, Solomon Daniels Sr. (Rose) of Blackville, South Carolina, Theodore Roosevelt Daniels (Zeola) of Columbia, South Carolina, Rev. Dr. Rudolph Daniels Sr. of Jersey City, New Jersey along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
