Jestene Chisolm Anti was born on December 5, 1953 to the late Nettie Mae Turner and Claudis Chisolm of Denmark, South Carolina. She departed this life on Thursday, April 17, 2014. Mrs. Anti graduated from Denmark-Olar High School and Voorhess College. She was a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She furthered her education and received a Master's Degree in Education from City University of New York. After receiving her Degree's, she began using her skills and talents to improve the quality of lives with all of the children she taught. She was a former elementary school teacher in Orangeburg, South Carolina for many years. Mrs. Anti enjoyed reading daily bible scriptures and attending Right Direction Church International in Columbia, South Carolina before becoming ill. She also enjoyed planting flowers in her garden during her free time. She also was an expiring artist and was very passionate about drawing and painting. Mrs. Anti is survived by: her loving husband, Hubert Harte Anti. She was also a devoted mother to Malika C. Stokes (John) and Camille C. Chisolm; three grandchildren, Joshua, Jasmine and Jaden; a host of sisters, Mary M. Chisolm, Loretta Tyler, Richardean Gasden, Alice Chisolm, Sara Chisolm, Pasty Chisolm, Betty Sherman, Elizabeth Chisolm, Jean Roger, Sally Chisolm; three brothers, Robert Turner, Daniel Chisolm, Claudis Chisolm, Edward Chisolm; also many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
