Mr. John Shuler's Obituary
Funeral services for the late Mr. John Shuler will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 am at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, Orangeburg, South Carolina. Interment services will follow immediately at Belleville Memorial Gardens, Orangeburg, South Carolina. Viewing for the public will be held one hour before the service.
On Sunday morning, January 14, 2018 at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC, Mr. John Shuler quietly answered the Master's call from labor to rest. He was the son of the late Mrs. Louella S. Frazier Mintz Carson and was born on November 18, 1947 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
He was educated in the public schools system of Orangeburg County. At an early age, John joined Shiloh Baptist Church. He always worked outside of the home; he retired from the Coca Cola and Pepsi Bottling Companies. John also worked for Johnson Roofing Company.
John was also preceded in death by one daughter, Coretta Chavis and a brother, Eugene Fazier.
John united in Holy Matrimony to the late Barbara A. Davis of Orangeburg, SC. This union was blessed with two sons, John Lee and Craig and one daughter, Reather. John later married Mary Alice Boneparte.
He leaves precious memories to his wife, Mary Alice; three sons, John Lee, Craig, and John Banks, one daughter, Reather, all of Orangeburg; eighteen grandchildren; four brothers, Harry Haynes and Gerald Shuler, both of Orangeburg, SC, Dr. Willie Leroy (Betty) Frazier of Augusta, GA and Willie Clay Mintz of Pennsylvania, a sister, Laura Haynes of Orangeburg; an aunt, Jimmie Lou Harrison of Orangeburg; a sister-in-law, Caroline R. Frazier of Orangeburg; a brother-in-law, Rev. Bennie Davis of Orangeburg and host of relatives and friends.
