Funeral services for the late Jonathan Keitt will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00 am at Andrew Chapel Baptist Church, Orangeburg, South Carolina.  Interment services will be held immediately after the funeral at Belleville Memorial Gardens.  Viewing the the public will be held on Friday from 10:00 am- 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Jonathan Charles Keitt bounced into this world on December 29, 1984 at 12:45 am. He was a beautiful baby who grew into a handsome young man with the brightest eyes and an infectious smile as well as the "gift of gab." We all called him "Jon," and he knew something was up if momma called him, Jonathan Charles Keitt!!!


Jon's comical personality bought joy to everyone he encountered. To know Jon was to love him.  Friends closest to him called him, "brother", "WILD BOY" or "PK".

His first best friend was his big brother Chris. Chris was Jon's protector, confidant, and keeper of his secrets.
He was kind, respectful, very insightful and he gravitated towards older people. He was always absorbing their knowledge and wisdom, only to share it later as his own.

Jon began his spiritual journey in early 2017. He often shared insights with his mom and stepdad. He relished talking with them about his life, his experiences, and his concerns.

Jon adopted the lion persona because it represents courage, endurance, and royalty.
He was always excited about life, and prayed that one day all Kings & Queens would live fruitful, and productive lives and roar like the lion he fancied himself to be.

Jonathan graduated from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in 2003. He attended South Carolina State University and obtained his CNC Professional Certification from Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was employed with Nexus Technologies, LLC.


He leaves to cherish his fond memories his parents, Lawrence & Jacquelyn Keitt, Yvonne & James Patrick; his children, Azariah & Jaiden and their mother, Tiffany Colter;his brothers, Christopher (Lucertia) Keitt, Hampton of Virginia and Kameron Keitt of Orangeburg; a sister, Stephanie Prince of Columbia, SC; Spiritual Partner, Vondessa Berry of Charleston, SC and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins & friends to include his "ride or die partners", John S. Alford, Travis McIver, Stephon Sistrunk, Karren Burnell, Christan Jones and Andrew Keitt.
