On February 16, 2024, Jonathan Raysor entered eternal rest at Aiken Regional Medical Hospital in Aiken, SC.  Jonathan Raysor was born June 2, 1962 in Barnwell County, South Carolina.  He was the son of the late Mr. Emanuel Raysor Jr. and Mrs. Marcella Raysor.

At an early age, he joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Blackville, South Carolina.  Later he united with Macedonia Baptist Church in Blackville, South Carolina.

He attended Blackville-Hilda Public School District and was a proud graduate of the class of 1980.  He later received a Degree of Associate in Industrial Technology from Aiken Technical College and a Certificate of Completion for Welding from Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College. Jonathan enjoyed a variety of career endeavors.

Jonathan married his former wife in 1985 Jeanette Butler and they shared four adopted children (Angela Williams,Tiffany Butler, Jermal Butler, and Travis Butler) and the two remained companions throughout the remainder of his life.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his father Emanuel Raysor, Jr.

Jonathan leaves to cherish his memories: his mother Marcella Raysor of Blackville, South Carolina, his Brothers, Manual Aaron Raysor of Blackville, South Carolina, Stevie (Felicia) Raysor of Lexington, Kentucky; his sisters, Teresa Raysor of Columbia, South Carolina and Kim (Rodney) Stokes of Blackville, South Carolina and an adopted devoted brother, Larry Ephriam of Aiken, South Carolina;  nieces, Latyra Raysor, Kyiana Raysor, and Jenesis Small all of Columbia, South Carolina, Tora Stokes and Brealy Stokes of Blackville, South Carolina; nephews, Lamar Raysor and Cayden Stokes of Blackville, South Carolina, Brodrick (Shalana) Raysor of Aiken, South Carolina, and Octaveus Pernell of Lexington, Kentucky; great nephews,  Keon Raysor, Brodrick Raysor Jr. and Amari Raysor of Aiken, South Carolina; uncles, Willie (Sadie) Razor of Sumter, South Carolina, Larry Smith of Blackville, South Carolina; aunts, Kayollie Ferguson of Williston, South Carolina, Eartha (Spencer) Braxton of  Blackville, South Carolina, Thelma (Fred) Pryer of  Blackville, South Carolina and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
