Our beloved Kelli Monique Collins, 27, of Brooklyn, New York was summoned with the twinkling of an eye on December 17, 2022. Born on March 29, 1995 to Amy Collins and Gary Duffy, Kelli brought special meaning to the calling of a daughter. Her soul was wise beyond her time, wrapped in warmth.

Kelli received her primary education in the Greater Atlanta area attending Preschool, Indian Creek Elementary, St. Timothy Elementary, Chamblee Middle and High School where she excelled academically and developed a tremendous love for the arts. Her competitive spirit led her to participate in gymnastics and a host of academic extracurricular activities.

Kelli was dedicated to any commitments she made. As a teenager, she spent countless hours at the YMCA working with little children throughout her high school years. She marveled at the progress the children made as she worked with them. She loved working with the children and the children loved her. As an avid dog lover, Kelli was known to cozy up to her family and friends' pets.

By God's grace, Kelli's spirit gave great joy to all who encountered her. When you met her, you instantly knew she was loving, kind, smart, studious, obedient, affable and precocious from birth. Our Kelli was blessed beyond measure, with wisdom and a beautiful spirit of self-motivation. Clothed in a heart of gold, Kelli's willingness to serve others was unstoppable. She poured love into her family and friends in full portions; always choosing to make the best of every moment. Kelli especially enjoyed the Annual Pasture Lane family gatherings and any gatherings of her family members. She was the very best of both her mom and dad. One characteristic that must be highlighted is her unwavering consistency and determination to produce excellent work throughout her life and in her professional career.

All of her GOD-given talents and gifts made way for her in ways many could only imagine. Kelli's independent spirit opened the door to imagine with limitless possibilities. As time passed, choosing a place for collegiate matriculation was the next step for Kelli and the wheels of God's plan were turning with a steady beat. While her parents were making their bid for an institution of Higher Education with a much closer location, Kelli's sights were on the north star, Syracuse University. By God's grace and her follow through, Kelli was offered an admission to the University. As God always makes way for His purpose, she was accepted at Syracuse University with scholarships to afford her matriculation.

In the fall of 2013, Kelli prepared for her move to Syracuse, New York. Kelli's desire to excel propelled her to choose quite the rigorous major of Computer Science which requires strong science and math foundation and much diligence. She always insisted on including a fine arts course or extracurricular activity for balance, throughout her undergraduate study. This balance transferred into a deep passion for photography that continued with her through her remaining life. She especially loved Polaroids to capture memorable life moments for herself and those around her. Her love for both the arts and technology fueled her career ambitions. She was blessed to graduate from Syracuse University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

After graduation, Kelli found professional opportunities in the city of New York that allowed her to apply both her technical education, along with her arts interests at Verizon Business, Comcast, and, at Havas Health and You; most recently, as a Digital Project Manager.

Living in New York City was a dream fulfilled. Kelli nurtured hem love for the arts by keeping a full calendar of visiting art galleries, museums, exploring the food scene, having picnics in the parks with family and friends; all while photographing each moment along the way.

Kelli is survived by her beloved mother and father, Amy Collins and Gary Duffy of Atlanta, GA; two sisters: Brandi (IK) Chigewe of Washington, DC; Charde (Robert) Lamar of Italy; her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Jenkins Collins of Blackville, SC. Her maternal grandfather, Willie S. Collins, preceded her in death. Her paternal grandmother, Joyce Duffy, and paternal grandfather, Thomas L. Duffy, also preceded her in death.

Kelli is survived by many aunts and uncles who loved her dearly: Janette Collins, Willie Kenneth  (Sandra)Collins, Mona Duffy, Jarvis (Janice) Duffy, Anna Lesia (Gregory) Marrow, Montenius (Lillie Mae) Collins, Angelyn Collins, Wanda (Arthur) Williams, Shawnee (Erwin) Collins, MaRenins H. Collins, DeLinda (Kenneth) Bryant.

Also, to mourn this loss, Kelli leaves a host of cousins and friends for a lifetime.
