Mr. Kenneth Derwell Barr, son of the late Mr. Jeremiah Graham and Helen Barr Grimes, was born in Bamberg County on September 23, 1978. He was called home on June 17, 2025.

Kenneth worked on many jobs, but his last job was at Husqvarna in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, John Barr and Olajuwon Grimes.

Kenneth is survived by his parents, Willie and Helen Grimes; four children: Keron Barr, Zaynayza Barr, Jayceon Barr, and Naomi Cunningham; two sisters: Cynthia Martin & Tonya Graham; six brothers: Ra'Shekee Grimes,

La'Tristan (Kimberly) Grimes, Clarence Bias, James Bias, Nate Washington, Demonn Graham; three uncles: Glenn Graham, James (Rudy) Barr, David (Rev. Gracie) Singletary, Chaplain Shirley (Ricky)Malone, five nieces and nephews; a very close cousin, Krystal Singletary, who was like a sister to him; his loving companion, Leigh McMillan (Jamie); and a host of other loving relatives and caring family and friends.
