On May 6, 1974, Mary Louise (Rosa) Parker welcomed her second born child with James Edward (BoBo) Reed in Blackville, South Carolina.  Kos McMikeal Parker known as Mike, transitioned from the flesh here on earth to enter into eternal rest on October 8, 2021.  At an early age, he joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lees, South Carolina.

Mike attended Blackville Public School system, graduating with the class of 1995. Shortly after graduating from high school, Mike enlisted in the United States Army in 1997.  His decision to serve was not only brave but honorable and greatly appreciated by the country he defended faithfully with patriotism.  Shortly after his tenure in the United States Army, he joined the work force at Husqvarna in the early 2000's and was a dedicated employee for many years.  Most knew Mike as an introvert however, those who knew him intimately had the privilege of sharing his affinity with enjoying music and watching his favorite wrestlers compete on the WWE Main Events.  When the football season commenced you could catch Mike rooting for his favorite football team, the New England Patriots.

Mike is preceded in death by his loving mother, Mary Louise Parker.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his father, James Edward Reed and his step-mother, Shelly;  sisters, Christa Parker of Blackville, SC and Chelsea Reed of Aiken, SC; brothers, James (Syntheria) Parker of McDonough, GA, Alvin Parker of Blackville, SC and Antwan Reed of Aiken, SC; three nieces; three nephews, one great niece, Zara Thomas; two great nephews, Malachi Fulton and Darius Parker Jr. and a host of aunts, uncles, other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
