Funeral services for the late Larry Daniels are scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Shrub Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Blackville, SC.  Interment services will follow immediately at Blackville Community Cemetery, Blackville, SC.  Viewing for the public will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the Bamberg Chapel.


L arry James Daniels was born on July 14, 1952 in Barnwell, South Carolina, to the late Amos Martin Daniels and Lela Williams Daniels.  He departed this life on April 21, 2018 at Pruitt Health Nursing Home, following a brief illness.

Larry was a graduate of Williston-Elko High School, Class of 1972 in Williston, South Carolina.

He joined Shrub Branch Missionary Baptist Church at an early age; there he found spiritual enrichment and guidance.

Larry was employed at Ducane Heating in Blackville, South Carolina for 27 years.  He also worked at ET Barwick and Dixie Narco and Building Construction.

Larry was married to the former Diane Dunbar. They were blessed with three children.

His wife, Diane D. Daniels and a daughter, Catherine Daniels preceded him in death.

Left to cherish fond memories are – two sons: Patrick (Shaylene) Daniels and Timothy Lamont Daniels; two daughters: Kimwanna (Lamont) Stancil and Lynette Prescott; fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren; five sisters: Elizabeth (Eddie) Hammond, Rosa Lee (Calvin) Brown, Eartha Lee Daniels, Bealuh Walters and Bernice Butler all of Blackville, South Carolina; two brothers: Isiah (Gloria) Daniels of Barnwell, South Carolina and Mark (Everdell) Daniels of Blackville, South Carolina; one sister-in-law, Jannie (Willie) Johnson of Boston, Massachusetts; one aunt, Alma (Sweet) Jackson of Aiken, South Carolina; special nephew, Christopher Daniels and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
