Funeral services for the late Mrs. Laura Tyler Eady will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Rosemary Baptist Church, Barnwell, SC. Interment services will follow immediately at Blackville Community Cemetery, Blackville, SC. Viewing for the public will be held on Saturday, August 8th between the hours of 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Laura Tyler Eady was born in Springfield, South Carolina on January 4, 1947 to the late Raymond Tyler Sr. and Pernell Abney Tyler. She was educated at Blackville Public School of Macedonia. At an early age, Laura was introduced to Christ and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church located in Lees, South Carolina. Later in her life, she joined Rosemary Baptist Church located in Barnwell, South Carolina. Laura had a series of jobs in the sewing industry working as a seamstress. In 1968, Laura was united in holy matrimony to the late Clarence Salley, Jr. and remained faithful until his passing in 1978. Laura is also preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Tyler, Jr. Laura leaves behind her beloved husband, Ulysees Eady, Sr., a resident of Laurel Baye Nursing Facility; one son, Darryl A. ( Debra) Salley, Sr. of Williston, SC; two grandchildren, Desiree S. Salley and Darryl A. Salley, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Landon A. Smith and Naomi N. Salley; one sister, Vernell Batie of Williston, SC; one sister-in-law, Sarah Tyler; two aunts; three uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
