Lawanda Denise Williams Robinson was born May 9, 1974 to the late Mary W. Hunter. She entered into eternal rest at her home on Sunday, May 5, 2024.

Lawanda joined the Mt. Zion Baptist Church at a very early age, where she was a member of the sunbeam choir, Sunday school, and vacation bible school. She was a 1992 graduate of Blackville-Hilda High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Voorhees University in Human Resources/Social Work.  Lawanda was a long-time employee of Barnwell School District 45 as Special Education Career Specialist.

Her sweet spirit and beautiful smile brightened every room that she walked in. She never met a stranger. Her love and passion for children with special needs radiated in her work at the school, as well as, in the community. She advocated for those that couldn't advocate for themselves. She dedicated all of her work to bringing awareness to Autism Disorders in honor of her son, Daven.

Besides her mother, Lawanda was preceded in death by her son, Daven Williams and her brother, Terence Williams.

Lawanda leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving and devoted husband, Brian Robinson; daughter Brianna Robinson; sister Latoya Smith, Bamberg; brother Mohammed Nelson, Virginia; mother-in-law Sandra Hammond; sister-in-law Christie Robinson; two brothers-in-law Johnny Hammond, Blackville and Joshua Hammond, Middle East; two uncles Carl (Angelia) Williams, Jr., Blackville, and Dennis (Dorothy) Williams, Missouri; two aunts Joe Marie (Robert) Martino, Ehrhardt, and Ruth Smalls, Blackville; three special cousins that were raised as her sisters and brother Shantel Tucker, Chelsea Calhoun, and Kolin Williams; and a host of other loving relatives and friends that cared for her deeply.
