Lee Verne Riley departed this life on Friday, February 9th, 2024. He was the son of the late Emmanuel and Edith Riley and was born on December 2, 1950.

Lee Verne attended the public schools of Orangeburg, SC and was previously married to Geraldine T. Riley.  To this union two children were born, Darlene Riley Wallace and Michael Lee Verne Riley. He worked for Motor Convoy for eleven years. After leaving Motor Convoy, he started his own towing business, Auto Express, for twenty five years before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmanuel and Edith Riley; one brother, Emmanuel Riley, Jr. and two sisters, Marie Beckett and Frances Shuler.

Left to mourn him are his children, Darlene (Rod) Wallace and Michael Riley; grandchildren, Malik Wallace and Jameelah Wallace; one sister, Mary Riley Glover of Orangeburg, SC; three brothers, Westley (Maria) Riley of Yonkers, NY, Jacob Riley of Orangeburg ,SC and David (Delphine) Riley of Durham, NC; two brothers-in-law, Bennie Shuler of Winston Salem, NC, and Landon Beckett of Jersey City, NJ and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
