MS. LENA MAE McCREARY-SALLEY-HUTTO, daughter of
the late Leonard and Willie Lou McCreary, was born on July 28, 1939 in
Barnwell County. She was called home on June 28, 2022.
Lena Mae was educated in the public schools of Blackville, SC.
At an early age, she joined Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in
Blackville, SC. She worked at Pink Shell Motel on Sanibel Island in
Florida and Trans Regional Sewing Manufactory in Blackville from
where she retired.
Lena is preceded in death by: Leonard and Willie Lou McCreary, Marion
McCreary, Nancy Thomas, Rev. Phillip McCreary, Moses McCreary,
Willie McCreary and grandchildren, Nina Hutto, Steve Hutto and Randall
Cunningham.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories: David Salley (Shirley) of
Augusta, GA, Shirley Hagood of Aiken, SC, Roosevelt Hutto (Helen) of
Barnwell, SC, Willie Mae Hutto of Blackville, SC, Randolph Hutto (La
tanya) of Melbourne, FLl, Travain Cunningham of Blackville, SC and
Dreyval Cunningham (Dubai); two brothers, Leonard McCreary, Jr. of
Aiken, SC and Willia Aron McCreary of Blackville, SC; three sisters,
Peggy Wideman (Billy) of Columbia, SC, Mary Berry (Ernest) of
Blackville, SC and Dorothy Pernell of Aiken, SC; a host of grands, greatgrands, nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Johnny.
