Leroy Staley, son of the late Leon "Pete" Staley, Sr. and Rosebud Staley, was born on February 25, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He transitioned home on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Calhoun County Convalescent Center.

Leroy was educated in Philadelphia and Bamberg County School Systems.  He furthered his education at Denmark Technical College in Denmark, SC.

Leroy is preceded in death by his siblings, Leon Staley, Sr. and Janice Staley.

Leroy is survived by his siblings, Richard (Vickie) Staley and Jesse (Remella) Staley of Denmark, SC, Gene Staley of Greenville, SC and a sister-in-law, Ora Staley of Lexington, SC as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends.
