Mrs. Lillie Ophelia Montgomery, daughter of the late Joshua Montgomery and
Lillie Judson Montgomery was born on October 8, 1946 in Kingstree, South Carolina.

Ophelia, as she was called, was a graduate of South
Carolina State College.

Ophelia joined Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Psi Alpha Chapter in the fall of 1967. Ophelia was a graduate
member of Zeta Phi Bets Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Omicron Zeta Chapter. She loved doing community service with the chapter. Ophelia volunteered with the chapter's Adopt the School Program and assisted
with the Amicae Auxiliary Group. Ophelia's biggest project with the Sorority was serving as Chairperson
of the Birthday Club. Ophelia handmade gifts for each member on their birthday.

Ophelia was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church located in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
She sang in the choir and was honored as Woman of The Year.

Ophelia will be missed by all who knew her to include her sister, Dorothy Montgomery.
