Linda Gail Johnson, 47, departed from this earthly home and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 10, 2015. She was born in Barnwell Hospital, South Carolina on June 4, 1968 to Mr. James E. Johnson Sr. and Christine Johnson. Linda received her early education from Blackville-Hilda High School in Blackville, South Carolina in 1986. She attended Winthrop University and later graduated from Aiken Technical College with a degree in Medical Coding. Linda was also a member of the Tri-County Ladies of Excellence in Barnwell, South Carolina. At an early age, Linda joined Tabernacle Baptist Church in Blackville, South Carolina where she served on the Tabernacle Jr. Choir during her early years and later Tabernacle Gospel Choir. Linda remained a faithful member until her untimely departure. Linda was employed at Bridgestone in Aiken, South Carolina in 2013 and Pure Power Technology in Columbia, South Carolina from 2011-2013. She was also employed at Allied Air in Blackville, South Carolina from 2000-2009. Linda leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted parents, Pastor James Johnson Sr. and Christine Johnson of Blackville, South Carolina; her brother, Terry (Lisa) Johnson of Augusta, GA; her sister, Lisa (Gerald) Myers of Wahiawa, Hawaii, brother, James (Shannon) Johnson of Barnwell, South Carolina; aunts, Lillian Harrison of Blackville, South Carolina, Stella (JP) Evans of Augusta, GA, Linda (James) Roberts who was also her godmother of Blackville, South Carolina, Rose (Albert) Raysor of Blackville, South Carolina, Shirley Kirkland and Carolyn Johnson both of Blackville, South Carolina and Lindora (Wallace) James of Williston, South Carolina; uncles, Billy (Olanda) Johnson of Blackville, South Carolina, Joshua Saxton of Blackville, South Carolina, Isaiah Johnson of Aiken, South Carolina; nieces, Precious Myers, Jasmine Johnson, Chartera Johnson, Rachael Myers, Taylor Johnson, and Valerie Johnson; nephews, Chris Johnson, Jacoby Myers, Joshua Myers and Caleb Johnson. Great-nieces, Tatianna Myers, Grace Myers, Cynthia Myers, Chloe Myers and Mariah Myers. Viewing for the public will be held on Thursday from 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the funeral home
