Lindell Corley is the oldest child of the late Ligon Corley Jr. and Maziel Bristow Corley.  Lindell was born on October 11, 1950 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She departed this earthly home for eternal rest on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Lindell, who was known as "Lynn" received her early education in Orangeburg public schools system.  Lynn accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of Nazareth United Methodist Church.  She relocated to White Plains, NY at an early age.  She was employed as a food service worker with Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, until she retired.  Lynn's passion and heart was family.  When around her loved ones or doing what she loved, her face lit up.  She was a hard worker and very dedicated to her family.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Ligon Corley, Sr. and Susie Mae Corley, and three sisters, Georgia Mae, Katherine and Iris; one special aunt, Dorothy Corley; an uncle, Timothy Corley and a special friend, John.

Lynn leaves to cherish her fond memories, her son, Marvin (Patricia) Corley of Orangeburg, SC; three grandchildren, Marvin (Ebony) Corely, Jr., Petty Officer First Class Akeem (Carly) Corley of San Diego, CA and Ebony Corley of Orangeburg, SC; three beautiful great grandchildren, Stephon Corely of Fort Steward, GA, Avaiya Corley of San Diego, CA and Sincere Corley of Orangeburg, SC; one sister, Dorothy Ann (Jack) of Orangeburg, SC; two brothers, Clint (Vernis) Corley and Jerry (Elaine) Corley of Orangeburg, SC; three aunts, Ethel Corley, Rosa Lee McCray and Mary Alford; three uncles, Wilbur Corley, Norman (Shirley) Corley and E. R. (Elizabeth) Corley; a special niece, Valerie Dobbs and a host of loving nieces and nephews, cousins and beautiful friends.
