Funeral services for the late Ms. Lumishia "Betty" Milledge will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Blackville, South Carolina. Interment services will follow immediately at Blackville Cemetery, Blackville, South Carolina. Viewing for the public will be held on Monday between the hours of 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Ms. Lumishia "Betty" Milledge, began her start of a legacy in Blackville, South Carolina on June 5, 1940 and ended her legacy on July 11, 2012. Betty was the daughter of the late Frank Milledge Jr. and Mabell Griffin Milledge. She embarked upon her educational quest in Blackville Public School System and dedicated her life to being a homemaker. Ms. Milledge joined the Pilgrm Rest Baptist Church at an early age. Although Betty's presence will be no more, she will always be remembered in our hearts for the love and kindness that she always displayed. Betty is preceded in death by one brother, Isadore Milledge. Betty is survived by a son, John (Joanna) Milledge of Springfield, SC; a daughter, Ashley Milledge of Blackville, SC; two brothers, Walter Milledge of Denmark, SC and Douglas (Mary) Milledge of Blackville, SC; one sister, Rutha M. Milledge of Springfield, SC; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight nieces; five nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
