Mrs. Mable Grimes, daughter of the late Ollie Mae Grant and Albert Grant, was born on March 20, 1933. She entered into eternal rest on January 3, 2018 at The Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
She was married to the late Nathaniel Grimes Sr. This union was blessed with two children the late Nathaniel Grimes Jr. and the late Pansy Grimes- Grant.
Mable was a member of Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Denmark, South Carolina. There she was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
Mable was also preceded in death by a special aunt, Bessie Lee Butterfield.
Although Mable's presence will be no more, she will always be remembered for the love and kindness exemplified towards those who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Mable's precious memories are a sister, Minnie Inez Glover of Bamberg, South Carolina; special nieces and nephews and a host of cousins from Bamberg, Orangeburg and Denmark, South Carolina.
Viewing for the public will be held on Saturday from 1:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Friends may call at the residence of her sister, Minnie Inez Glover, 21 Lazy Lane, Bamberg, SC and at the funeral home. Sacred arrangements are entrusted to Dash's Funeral Home of Bamberg. Online condolences may be submitted to
