Ms. MacPhine Bell, daughter of the late Charlie and Emma Lou Johnson Jones was born on February 28, 1937 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. She departed this earthly life on May 6, 2016 at Jolley Acres Nursing Home, Orangeburg, South Carolina.

MacPhine graduated from Calhoun County Public School System in St. Matthews, South Carolina.

MacPhine retired from Ambler Industries after many years of employment. She was married to the late Eugene Bell and this union was blessed with three children.

MacPhine was a fun and loving person who enjoyed preparing meals for her family.

MacPhine in preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; son, Steven; brothers, Solomon Jones, John Marvin Jones and Alphonso Jones; and a sister, Anna Lou Bell.

Cherishing MacPhine's precious memories are one daughter, Valerie (Jerry) Robinson of Charlotte, North Carolina; one son, Calvin (Sylvia) Bell of Orangeburg, South Carolina; grandchildren, L'Maro (Katrina) Bell, Tega Bell, Thai-Li-Lee, Shannon Fersner and Leon Jackson, III; one sister, Doris Benjamin of Orangeburg, South Carolina; six sisters-in-law Rose Ella Bell, Mary Jones, Ruthann Ford all of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Darlene Jones of Columbia, South Carolina, Odessa Bell of Bridgeport, Connecticut and Wilhelmina Long of Winston Salem, North Carolina; a special niece that she held closely to her heart, Lydia Williams and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends.
