Public viewing will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the funeral home. The family will greet friends between the hours of 6:00 pm- 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Baptist Church, Orangeburg, South Carolina. Entombment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, Orangeburg, South Carolina. Marilyn is the daughter of the late John Vester Leach and Elizabeth Mary Kelly. She was born on June 19, 1942 in Queens, New York. Marilyn was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, Orangeburg, South Carolina. Marilyn retired from the VA Hospital in East Orange, New Jersey where she worked as a certified nurse assistant. She was blessed with six children, Mary, Marvin, Theresa, Cheryl, Lorraine, Kim and three stepchildren, Larry, Harry and Vernette. She is survived by her children; three sons, Larry Williams of Quincy, FL, Harry Howell of Newark, NJ, Marvin Leach (Denise) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; five daughters, Mary Leach of Orangeburg, SC, Theresa Howell of Orangeburg, SC, Cheryl Howell (Hardy) of Central, SC, Lorraine Howell of Orangeburg, SC, Kim Howell of Newark, NJ; one brother, Alexander Leach (Victoria); one sister, Virgil Leach of Southern Pines, NC; one niece, Patricia Davis of Newark, NJ; twenty four grandchildren, Tycia Leach, Omar Leach, Michael Howell, Taliah Howell, Ronald Howell, Ayisha Howell-Primrose (Jason), Cheron Howell, Ramon Howell, Jesse Sanders, Marvin Leach, Jr., Cherise Jackson, Jacob Howell, Shareefah Adams, Desiree Leach, Elijah Howell, Rita Howell-Bradley, Saleemah Williams, Shakeemah Henderson, Tanisha Henderson, Shaniquah Williams, Tyshawn Howell, Lashawn Howell, Ja'Nyah Howell, Fuquan Howell; nineteen+ great-grandchildren, Shanice Leach, Tymaiah Harper-Leach, Zynae Leach, Shaniah Bradley Jasir Primrose, Alani Primrose, Andre Howell just to name a few and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
