On Thursday, April 14, 2011, God chose Mrs. Mary Louis McMillan and quietly closed her eyes and whispered to her, "Peace Be Thine". Mary departed her life in the presence of her loved ones. Mrs. Mary Louise McMillan, daughter of the late Ruthie Mae Rickenbacker was born on November 10, 1948 in Charleston, South Carolina. She received her education in the Bamberg County Schools and was a member of City of Refuge Ministries located in Denmark, South Carolina. Mary's memories will forever be cherished by: one son, Mr. James McMillan III of Bamberg, SC; one grandson, Tramaine Makel McMillan; three brothers, Harold (Sue) Rickenbacker of Charleston, SC, Leroy (Amy Bradley) Rickenbacker of Denmark, SC and James (Bridgette) Rickenbacker of Charleston, SC; one sister, Yvonne (Woody) O'Dell; a devoted aunt, Deloris Rickenbacker; two lifelong friends, Evelyn "Pumpkin" Harris and Angela "Peaches" Midgette; and a many other treasured relatives and friends.
