The life of Mary Ann Reed began in Denmark SC on April 12 ^th , 1957 to Elease Perkins & Isaac Collins.

A Time To Learn and Serve

Mary attended the Public School System of Denmark SC, later served the public working for the state of South Carolina for 30 years before retiring. She then returned to service, working for Amazon until present. She also served the public by preparing tax returns at her own business.

A Time To Praise

Mary was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Norway SC where she served faithfully.

A Time To Love

Mary was a loving person. To know her was to love her. She enjoyed cooking and loved helping others. She believed in motivating others to do better. She had a heart for her community and loved to organize and volunteer for events to help the youth of Denmark. More than anything, she loved to travel, meet new people, and see new places.

A Time To Die

After an adventurous life, she found eternal rest on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

Mary leaves to cherish her parents, Elease Perkins of Denmark, SC and father Issac Collins of North Carolina; a son, Stephen (Kimberly) Reed of Columbia SC; a daughter, Yolanda (Courtney) Reed Scott of Orangeburg, SC; grandchildren, SGT Xavier (Kanesha) Reed of Killeen Texas, Stephone Reed of Estill, SC, Kyle Patrick of Beech Island, SC, Ashley (Darius) Tyler of Govan, SC, Nicholas Scott of Orangeburg, SC and Courtney T. Scott of Orangeburg, SC; great grandchildren, Xaiden & Kamari Reed of Killeen Texas & Ashton Tyler of Govan, SC; siblings, Charon (Greg) Bartley of Georgia, Willie (Gabriel) Perkins of South Carolina, Tammie Pennywell of Maryland, Colonel Curtis (Tanisha) Perkins of Georgia, and Edwin (Lawanda) Perkins of Georgia and a host aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
