Mich ael Andrae Huggins departed this life, August 10, 2018, after a brief illness at Grady Hospital, Atlanta Georgia. He was born on March 10, 1972 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He is the son of Mr. Henry and Mrs. Mary Huggins of Orangeburg, South Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Elise Huggins of Cameron, South Carolina and Mrs. Lucille Lee and the late Mr. Timrod Lee of Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Michael was a 1991 graduate of Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School. After graduating from high school, he enlisted into the United States Army Reserve on January 9, 1992 and served his country for three years with an honorable discharge on May 18, 1995.  In April 2002, he married the love of his life, Sharon Rumph.

Michael was a member of Beulah Refuge Tabernacle Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc., where Bishop David A. Smith is pastor.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife, paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

Michael leaves to cherish his fond memories, one daughter, Andrea Sharell Green; his parents, Mr. Henry and Mrs. Mary Huggins; one sister, Mrs. Tammy Huggins Preston; one brother-in-law, Mr. Timothy Joseph Preston; seven aunts, Mrs. Flossie Brindle, Mrs. Jessie Cahee, Ms. Lucille Lee, Ms. Gussie Lee, and Mrs. Joan (Lonnie) Robinson all of Orangeburg, SC, Mrs. Ernestine Howell and Ms. Nadine Huggins of Columbus, Ohio; two uncles, Mr. Timrod Lee of Orangeburg, SC and Mr. Calvin Lee of Atlanta, Georgia; one grandaunt, Mrs. Mildred Sweat of Elloree South Carolina and a host of cousins and friends.

Viewing for the public will be held on Tuesday from 2:00- 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
