Bernard Lee, son of the late Jerry Myers, Sr. and the late Minnie Wroten Lee was born on January 5, 1975 in Denmark, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg, South Carolina.
"Mike"
as he was affectionately known by many was educated in the public school system of Denmark, South Carolina graduated in 1993 from Denmark Olar High School. After graduation he entered in the United States Army where he served from 1994 to 1997. Michael attended Edisto Fork United Methodist Church. Although he was born to his parents, he was raised by Mr. Willie Heyward, whom he looked up to as a Father.
Michael was employed at Masonite Corporation of Denmark, South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by both parents, a sister, Shirley Elaine Myers and other loving family members.
Michael leaves to cherish fond memories to: his wife Lucretia D. Irick Lee of the home; five children, Michael Deonte' Lee, Javier Lee, Za'Mya Sanders, Jakhia T. Keitt and DaSean J.A. Hampton; one grandson, Kayden J. Johnson; three brothers, Jeffrey (Carol) Wroten , Frank (Amy) Lee , and Jerry Myers Jr.; four sisters, Annie (Kenneth) Martin, Saretha Hughes, Mary Hughes, Laura McMichael and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing for the public will be held on Sunday from 3:00- 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
