The family of the late Minister Darnell P. Johnson invite you to attend Minister Johnson's homegoing services on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11:00 am at Macedonia Baptist Church, Blackville, South Carolina. Interment services will follow immediately at Barnwell Memorial Gardens. Viewing for the public will be held on Friday between the hours of 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church. Johnson was the first born to the late James and Lizzie McGrady born, June 9, 1921 in Dawson, Georgia. On April 19, 2013 God called the Matriach of the family home for her eternal rest. A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them At an early age Minister Darnell P. Johnson left Dawson and moved to Jacksonville, Florida and was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Theodore Roosevelt Johnson Sr. and to this union five children were born. A time to be silent and a time to speak Minister Darnell P. Johnson accepted Christ and became an Evangelist devoting her life to serving the Lord very faithful member of various church organizations in the community. Minister Darnell P. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents James & Lizzie her husband Theodore Johnson, Sr. A time to mourn Minister Darnell P. Johnson leaves to cherish her loving memories, three sons, Theodore R. Johnson, Jr. (Mary) and Charles Johnson all, of Jacksonville, Fla.; Reginald Leon Johnson, of Columbia, SC; two daughters Sandra Holman (James) Blackville, SC , Audrey Jones , Jacksonville, Fla.; a host of grandchildren and great-grand children and great-great Grand Children, one niece an host of cousin and friends, two wonderful Caretakers E. Carter and Jessie Glover.
