On January 31, 2020 at the Anchor Rehabilitation Facility in Aiken, South Carolina, our beloved Minnie Pearl  Greene Elmore, entered into eternal sleep.  Minnie was born on April 30, 1943 in Blackville, South Carolina.  She was the daughter of the late J.W. Green and Girlean May-Greene; however, she was raised by her maternal grandparents, Clarence "Buck" Walker and Louise May- Walker.

Minnie attended Macedonia Elementary and High Schools in Blackville, South Carolina.  After graduation in 1960, she moved to Brooklyn, New York

Minnie was employed as a seamstress for many years with the N.Hakim and Company. Upon her return to Blackville, she continued to work as seamstress for Blackville Cleaners and Laurel Bale Nursing Facility.
