Funeral services for the late Mrs. Minnie Mae Johnson Miller White will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Frost Branch Missionary Baptist Church. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Interment services will follow immediately in the church cemetery. Rev. Jospeh Williams and Rev. Joseph Jackson will officiate. Minnie Mae Johnson Miller White was born on February 25, 1935 to the late Hattie Snellings Johnson, Ben Johnson Sr., and Isadore Milledge. She entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. at her residence. At an early age, she joined Frost Branch Missionary Baptist Church and she attended faithfully until her health declined. Minnie was employed at Burr Birdman and Ducane as a welder until she became sick and had to retire. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, the late Samuel Miller. This union was blessed with two children. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Ben Johnson, Jr. and James Johnson; a sister, Hattie Frances Green; and a great-grandson, Malcolm Robinson. On September 28, 1974, Minnie was united in holy matrimony to Bennie White, Sr. Cherishing Minnie's fond memories are: her husband, Bennie White, Sr.; children, Samuel Clay Miller and Sandra Jean Miller both of Barnwell, SC; sisters, Mattie J. Gatson of Springfield, SC, Betty J. Hankerson of Brooklyn, NY; brothers, Eldred (Joyce) Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Alonzo (Ann) Johnson of Blackville, SC, Henry (Karen) Johnson of Augusta, GA; step children, Bennie White, Jr., Annie White, Goldie Dukes, Dorothy Jean Function and Furk Function; six grandchildren, Sammie (Thomasena) Miller, Sandra (Tracey) Blocker both of Aiken, SC, Minne Miller of Charlotte, NC, Samantha Tracey of Aiken, SC, two reared as her own, Eric Miller of Brooklyn, NY and Jennifer (Wendell Sr.) Smith of Williston, SC; three sister-in-laws, Janie Barfield and Elizabeth Cuthbertson of Williston, SC, Betty (Asberry) Sanker of Washington, DC; eight great-grandchildren; a number of step grandchildren; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to thank Infinity Hopsice Care for aiding in Minnni's comfort during her last days here with them. Viewing for the public will be held on Friday between the hours of 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
