Funeral services for the late Mrs. Minnie Lee Washington will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at Shrub Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Blackville, SC.  Interment services will follow immediately at Hope Memorial Park Cemetery, Barnwell, SC.  Viewing for the public will be held on Friday, December 11th from 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the funeral home.


Sister Minnie Lee Washington, daughter of the late Lee Maner Moye and Mammie Daniels Moye entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 5, 2015 after an extended illness.
Early in life, Minnie joined Shrub Branch Baptist Church where she remained throughout her life. She truly cherished and was very proud to work as a home health aide, working with the elderly.
Minnie is preceded in death by her first husband, Isaac Minus Jr. Later in life, she remarried Larry G. Washington who also preceded her in death. In addition, Minnie is preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Frizzelle and brothers, Sammie Moye and Lindward Moye.
Cherishing Minnie's precious memories include her son, Tony B. (Lisa) Minus; her stepchildren, Larry Drayton, Curtis Drayton, Jermaine Drayton, Shonda Drayton and Jermaine Harrison; a host of grandchildren and great- grandchildren; three sisters, Lizzie Mae Hammonds, Essie (Edward) Smalls and Lessie Donaldson all of Blackville, SC; a brother, Carmichael Williams of Blackville, SC; sister-in-laws, Josephine Minus of Columbia, SC, Ella Minus of Boston, Massachusetts, Vermell Moye, Mary L. Taylor and Jurutha Arnold all of Blackville, SC; a brother-in-law, Bobby Washington of Denmark, SC; a special niece, Erica D. Wilson who was raised in her home and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
