Floyd Hughes Mr. Moses McCreary, son of the late Willie Lou and Leonard McCreary was born on May 8, 1948 in Barnwell, South Carolina. Early Sunday morning, February 8, 2015, the Lord called Moses to a sweet and peaceful rest at his home. Moses received his education at Macedonia School and furthered his education at Job Corp in Price, Utah. At an early age, he joined Macedonia Baptist Church in Blackville, South Carolina. Moses is preceded in death by a son, Bryan Scopeio McCreary and his brother, Rev. Phillip McCreary. Moses leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife of 47 years, Mary Ann McCreary; one son, Alex McCreary of Blackville, SC; eight grandchildren, Shidaa Mincy, Ta'nia, Zanasia, Fanasia, Bryan Scopeio Jr., Bradley and Fantasia all of Blackville, SC; four sisters; three brothers; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Viewing for the public will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
