Mother Ruth Ella (Rudi) Brabham Williamson Miller was born on January 4, 1941 to the late Grady Brabham and Carrie Dell (Goody) Williams Brabham.  She entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at her residence in Olar, South Carolina.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vernice and two brothers, Leroy Herman Brabham and Henry E. Brabham; her first husband, Jesse James Williamson Jr.; granddaughter, Cassandra Williamson and sister- in- law, Clara Brabham.

She received her education in the Bamberg County School System.  She held fond memories of playing on the basketball team.  Ruth accepted Christ at an early age and grew up in Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Olar, SC.  In recent years she attended St. Phillip Apostolic Faith Church of Deliverance, Inc. in Olar, SC.  At St. Phillip she served as the church Mother, Bible School Teacher and Vice President of the Missionary Society.

On May 23, 1997, Ruth Ella and Joseph Miller were wed in Holy Matrimony in Denmark, South Carolina.  A few years later they relocated to their childhood hometown of Olar.  As a woman of faith she trusted God in all matters and usually provided a scripture to soothe any soul.  While Ruth Ella was a mother to everyone, her kind spirit and generosity was felt by all who knew and loved her.  Rudi and Joe opened their doors to the community and were affectionately known for hosting their Memorial Day Weekend celebrations for 22 consecutive years.

Ruth Ella leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Joseph Miller, sons,  Jesse III (Lisa), Eric (Tovetto), Joseph Jr.  (Maxine) Miller and Mark Miller; daughters, Stephanie Miller, Lawanda Clay (Willie) and Wendolyn (Wendy) Miller; her adopted children, Tiberrius (Ty) Duncan and Yukisha Hudson; Her brothers, Charlie Russell Brabham (Julia) and Willie E. Brabham;  sisters-in-law, Marsha Whittle (Curtis) and Vera Miller; brother-in-law, Terry Fields (Rose Ella), and Ronald Ames; her niece, Charlette Maddox (Rico); nephews, Marshall (Alvin) Chambliss (Arlene), Otis Brabham (Debera), Charlie Jr. (Katrina) and Willie Edward  Brabham Jr.; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; God Children, Cassandra Rivers-Bostick, Timothy Williams, Harold Gilbert, Everett Gilbert, Charlene Hayward, Ruthie Brown, Brenda Furse, Veronica Thomas and Sheila Ray Johnson.  Also cherishing her memory is her best friend and sister, Gerladine Lewis (TJ) and host of additional nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
