Mr. Mychal Quintel Johnson, son of Willie Dell Johnson and Ray Grant,
was born on April 18, 1991 in Bamberg, South Carolina. He departed this
life peacefully at Advent Health Waterman in Tavares, Florida on
Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

Mychal was a graduate of Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School in Bamberg,
South Carolina. He received a Bachelor degree from Clemson University
in Clemson, South Carolina and took classes on-line to get his Master's
degree.

At an early age, Mychal joined Bethel United Methodist Church in
Bamberg, South Carolina. His great grandmother, Ms. Adell Murdock,
made sure that he and his sister and three cousins attended Sunday school
at Bethel.

Mychal was a Graphic Engineer at a Hallmark Company in Mount Dora,
Florida. He always greeted everyone with a friendly smile.
He enjoyed reading, playing video games and working on the computer.

He is preceded in death by his granddaddy, grandmother, uncles and
aunts.

He leaves to cherish fond memories - his mother, Willie Dell Johnson of
Bamberg, SC; father, Ray Grant of Denmark, SC; one sister, Phylicia Grant
of Bamberg, SC; grandfather, Roy Grant of Ehrhardt, SC; several aunts:
Elizabeth Johnson of Bamberg, SC, Darline (Kenny) Martino and Barbara
Grant all of Ehrhardt, SC; several uncles: James Allen Murdock (Sue) of
Martin, SC, Mike Grant, Donald (Adrean) Grant and Jimmy (Shirley) Grant
of Ehrhardt, SC; one great aunt, Ms. Juanita Murdock; one great uncle, Mr.
Charles Kizer and a host of loving cousins and close friends.
