Funeral services for the late Mr. Nathaniel Robinson will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Good Hope AME Church in Cope,South Carolina. Interment services will follow immediately at the church cemetery. Rev. Dr. Georgeann T. Pringle will officiate. Viewing for the public will be held on Friday between the hours of 12:00 noon- 7:00 pm at the funeral home. The family will greet friends at the funeral home between the hours of 6:00-7:00 pm. Nathaniel "Bossie" Robinson, was born the fourth child of the late James Adkin and Alice Robinson on September 14, 1951 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was a 1970 graduate of Wilkinson High School. He was married to Mrs. Jeanette Franklin Robinson. Nathaniel was employed at Cox Wood Preserving Company for 27 years as a Lumber Machine Operator. He was very friendly and loved to talk to everyone. Nathaniel loved the Lord. He joined Good Hope AME Church at an early age. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, James, Jr., Odell and O.W. Robinson. Nathaniel leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories: his loving wife, Mrs. Jeanette F. Robinson of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah (Willie Edward) Pressey of Deer Park, NY and Ms. Mary Ann Elliott of CI, New York and a brother, Mr. Ernest (Lillian) Robinson, of Columbus, GA; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Shirley Robinson of St. Petersburg, Fl and Mrs. Debbie Robinson of Orangeburg, SC; two brothers-in-law, Isaac Franklin, III and Allen Franklin of Orangeburg, SC; his father-in-law, Mr. Isaac Franklin, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC; several nieces and nephews; three aunts; and a host of cousins.
