A memorial service for the late Ms. Ollie Mae Davis will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Dash's Funeral Home Chapel in Bamberg, South Carolina. The sun set on Ms. Ollie Mae Davis, 83 years old, at her residence in Denmark, South Carolina on Friday, December 30, 2011. She was born on September 10, 1928 in Bamberg, South Carolina. She lived in Denmark, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Sadie Hiers Davis. Ollie was preceded in death by her sisters, Geneva Halyard and Gladis Samuels, her daughter, Shirl Charlene Davis Turner and her son, Alvin Davis. Although Ollie's physical presence will be no more, her memories will live in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her dearly. Left to Cherish Ollie's precious memories are: her loving daughter, Nancy Davis; a loving son, John Edward Davis; her grandchildren, Latashia Davis, Katrina Davis, Shontay Davis, Shyla Turner, James Felder, Patrick Turner; great-grandchildren, Rashine Johnson, Kareem Davis, Treyvon Felder and Christopher Felder; a brother-in-law, J. W. Samuels; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
