On Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 11:39AM, PAULINE

ELIZABETH GRIMES RAYSOR was summoned home by

the Lord. She was born April 13, 1931 in Bamberg, SC to

the late Charles Henry Grimes, Sr and Lallah Rice Grimes

Williams.

Pauline obtained her education in the Bamberg County

School System where she excelled as a star player in both

basketball and dodge ball. Pauline went on to attend Denmark

Area Trade (Denmark Technical College) where she

majored in cosmetology.

At an early age, Pauline joined the Eden Baptist Church

where she served faithfully until her health failed. She

served on the Usher Board, Missionary Board and as Mother

of the Church.

On March 6, 1952, Pauline was joined in holy matrimony

to the love of her life, Isadore Raysor. To this union, eight

children were born. Three children preceded her in death.

Pauline's passions in life was serving God and working her

church, spending time with her family, gardening and cooking.

Pauline leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband

Isadore Raysor of the home; five loving daughters: Ellen

(Larry) Toomer, Maude Raysor, Caroline A. Raysor of

Bamberg, SC, Lilah (Darell) McMillan of Raeford, NC and

Judy (Arthur) Grovner of Evans, GA; seven grandchildren;

12 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Chennie Mae

Grimes of Denmark, SC, Lena R Sherman and Vietta

Raysor of Bamberg, SC; numerous loving nieces, nephews,

cousins and friends; one grandson, Darren McMillan preceded

her in death.

Also, left to cherish her memory are "adopted" families: the

Wilson, McMillon, Graham,Henderson, Bamberg, Kinard,

Dowling, Goodwin, Lathen and Metcalf.
