Julius Seawright Pernell was born to the late Charlie and Viola Davis on February 18, 1937 in Orangeburg, SC. She married Earnest Seawright, Sr. on November 25, 1961 and they resided in Orangeburg until they relocated to Washington, DC in 1967. Pernell attended Wilkinson High School. She was a health aide nurse for 25 years and retired in 2003. She was very passionate about the care given to her clients. Pernell was a member of Greater Morning Star Pentecostal Church in Washington, DC. She lived to serve God. Cherishing her memories are: her husband, Earnest Seawright, Sr.; three children, Ernest Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Julius of Charlotte, NC and Irvin (Marsha) of Washington, DC; four grandchildren, Marco, Brittany, Chante' and Jasmine; a dear friend and sister-in-law, Shirley Ramirez- Seawright; nephew, Rufus; niece, Yvonne; and a host of other relatives and friends.
