Randolph T. Esau a native of Summerville, SC transitioned on Friday, July 17, 2026.  We the family bow and humble submission to almighty God, Our Father, Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer.

Randolph is the son of the late Rev. Alferd Esau and Lady Catherine Stevens Esau and the grandson of the late Timothy Esau and Wilhemenia Vanderhorst Esau.  Randy became affiliated with the Brownsville Church at a very early age.  Nurturing parents trained and instructed him of the ways of the Lord.  Raised in a religious and loving home "Randy stated he stayed in church so much he was unable to complete his homework many times".  As a child, he learned to play the piano by reading music and was even gifted with the ability to play by ear.

Randy graduated from Summerville High School where his interest included participating in band and also enjoyed being a bus driver for local school.  He was a graduate of Claflin University with a Bachelor of Arts with continued graduate studies in education and computer technology.

Randolph affectionately known as "Randy", "E", or "Esau" was very artistic in drawing blue prints and was skilled in the field of masonry.  He was phenomenal with his computer skills along with being a mathematical wiz.  He enjoyed reading Drama Series Novels.  Randy also was a collector of comic books.

Randy was a very patient, kind, compassionate person, full of laughter and joy.

When he enlisted in the US Navy this allowed him to travel the world which included domestic and international travels.  He was sailor of the year twice along with receiving numerous awards for outstanding performance and recognition.  He provided dedicated service to his country.  A member of the master Mason #46, Okinawa Japan.  Holy Royal Arch #11.  32nd #85, Okinawa Japan.  Temple #187, Okinawa, Japan "Class of Faith".

He leaves to cherish his precious memory his devoted wife of 44 years, Brenda Esau; his loving older sister, Alfreda Esau Brown (Aaron); and a host of caring nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever treasure the love, wisdom, kindness, and memories he shared with them.

Although Randy's earthly journey has ended, his legacy of faith, service, integrity, intelligence, compassion, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
