God, in His divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding, claimed the life of our beloved son, brother, father and friend, Reginald Antwan Bruce, on Sunday, December 8, 2019.

Reggie, "Reb", as he was affectionately called by all, was the third child of Frances Gadson Bruce and Earl Bruce, Jr.  He was born on January 25, 1984 in Orangeburg County (Branchville).   His beautiful smile and charming personality captured the hearts of many who loved and admired his sweet and caring spirit.

Reggie attended the public schools in Branchville and Bowman, South Carolina receiving his formal education.  Motivated by strong religious values, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and became a member of House of God in Branchville, South Carolina.  He was an avid Sunday School Scholar and served faithfully in many other capacities, mainly as a drummer for the church.

Reggie met and was later united in Holy Matrimony to Cassandra Brown.  They were blessed with one son and two stepdaughters.

He was a truck driver and worked in sports management which he loved dearly.  He loved to cook and eat seafood, and loved spending quality time with his family.  He was well known in the community for sports and never met a stranger.  He loved entertaining others at cookouts and country boy socializing.  He lived his life well and was very respected in the community.

Reggie loved to travel to Atlanta to visit his mother and family.

Reggie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Mary Gadson and Earl and Jennie Bruce as well as four aunts.

Reggie leaves to cherish his fond memories:  his mother, Frances Bruce of Alpharetta, GA; father, Earl Bruce, Jr. of Rowesville, SC; one son, Isaiah Regon Bruce and his mother, Cassandra Brown of Branchville, SC; two stepdaughters, Timice and Timera Calloway of Branchville, SC; a brother, Earl Donnell (Kathleen) Bruce of Atlanta, GA, Vincent (Karen) Glenn (Karen) and Quintel (Tameka) Glenn ; a sister, Angela Bruce of Florence, SC; step-sisters and step-brothers, Travis Williams, Stephanie Hicks, Laquanda Williams and Robert Williams, all of Rowesville, SC; special nieces, Alexander Bruce, Madison Bruce, Jasmine Bruce and Lauren Glenn; a special friend, Vanessa Pope of Aiken, SC as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
