Reverend Willis Biggman McClellan, son of the late Lonnie Vermont McClellan, Sr. and Virnether Biggman McClellan, was born in Orangeburg County, on September 23, 1949. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Edisto Post-Acute, Orangeburg, South Carolina.

At an early age, he joined Emanuel A. M. E. Church, Cope, SC where he served faithfully until his health would no longer allow. While serving at Emanuel, he accepted the call to the ministry and was ordained into the A. M. E. Church. He received his formal education from George Washington Carver High School, Cope, SC and Allen University, Columbia, SC.

Those cherishing his memories are three sisters, Theodocia M. Jennings, Cope, SC, Vernether V. McClellan, Marietta, GA and Gwendolyn (Sonny) M. Davis, Orangeburg, SC; a daughter, Doris Kelly, Orangeburg, SC; two granddaughters; three aunts and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
