Heaven's gateway opened Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Aiken Regional Hospital and received Robert (Bob, Binky, Banky) Anthony Faust into the home God had prepared for him since August 24, 1960. The legacy of Mrs. Minnie (Bea) Faust, her son Mr. Henry (Pearl Moye) Faust and grandson Mr. James Henry Faust, Robert Anthony (Bob, affectionately and Banky, better known) is the second born child to the union of James (Bose) Henry and Anna Myers Faust. Anna (Mom Ann) was the youngest born to Mr. Fred Myers, Sr. and Mrs. Gertrude Hicks Myers, all named deceased.

Bob was reared on the Clemson Experiment Station under the guidance of his Dad and Mrs. Jessie Brown Faust learned great trades, and life's lessons tending the various fields and farms. These experiences created a strong devotional work ethic for Bob to care for his siblings, family and friends. Gardening grew as a passion for him in which he instilled in his wife and daughter on behalf of his mother. Bob delighted in the foods enjoyed greatly by his dad; coon, rabbit, pork-pot, etc. He was a Cadillac man, well-groomed and stylish.

Bob matriculated in the Barnwell County School Systems in his early years at Kelly Edwards Elementary and later graduated in 1980 at Blackville Hilda High. He participated in football, basketball, track and field; was a long-time bus driver in school and after graduating for various sporting events.

Bob's exemplary work ethics were during his tenure at Ducane Heating and Owens Corning Fiberglass. He provided outstanding service at Macedonia Baptist Church through the Male Chorus, Men and Trustees Ministries, and wherever a need was present… even outdoor grilling for various church functions. Loving on his prized possessions, Dana and the grands, he would always call for them, their presence in visitation to just simply place his eyes upon them… give the "Biggest Love Smile"; he will continue to fill their hearts.

Two brothers preceded Bob in death; Kevin LaMar Brown and Clayton James Faust as well as his mother-in-law Beatrice Thomas and father-in-law Willie James Harrison. Some special aunts and uncles namely Louise Clack, Rosa Robertson, Junita Kirby, Willie Dell Young, Carrie M. Williams, Lelia M. Canty, Fred Myers, Jr, and Wendell Myers amongst many. As well as sister-in-law Annette J. Sapp and brother-in-law Kenneth James Harrison.

His love forever endures in the hearts of his wife Mrs. Ethel Thomas Faust, his daughter Dana-Alisia Thomara Faust and grandchildren Kaliah A'more and Kalih Zaire Harmon, Raniyah, Makiah, Joc'Quise and Chop Washington - Columbia, SC, along with God-children Tracey Montague, Lil-Kev - Isaiah Faust, Shaneen Corujo and Estacia Thomas. Dearly beloved siblings include brothers Timothy Bernard (Janie) and Johnie (Mary) Faust both of Aiken, SC, Kevin Michael (Merinda) and sister April (Robert) Faust Odom both of Blackville, SC. Fond Sisters-in-law are Runell, Willie Mae and Victoria Thomas of Blackville, SC Eartha (Zerrie) Thomas Miller - Winter Springs, FL, Anita (Tyrone) Harrison - Atlanta, GA and Iris M. Harrison - Wilmington, DE. Brothers-in-law are Ricky Thomas, Michael Irving and Albert (Malissa) Pressley - Blackville, SC, James Monroe Sapp - Williston, SC and Glenn Johnson - Wilmington, DE.

Eldest family survivors include Aunts Ms. Ethel (Callie Bea) Faust, Janette and Ruby Thomas - Blackville, SC, Mrs. Elizabeth Washington - Gardenia, CA, Mary Ruth Staley - Coconut Creek, FL and Rosina Pressey - Wilmington, DE; uncles Michael "Butch" and Stanley Faust - Brooklyn, NY and Douglas Cantey - Paxville, SC and dear and special cousins Ora Lee Green - Augusta, GA, Mary Davis - ___ TX. Additional hosts of special

cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends will forever cherish the many tender memories of Bob; along with some dear life-time friends Enine Salley, Arthur Hammond and Raymond Chavous.
