Funeral services for Ron C. Benjamin of 454 Crossing Circle, Orangeburg will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Cope, South Carolina. Rev. Thomas Darby will officiate. Interment services will follow immediately in the church cemetery. Ron C. Benjamin is the son of JC Benjamin and the late Cora L. Benjamin. He was born on June 18, 1971 in Charleston, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Lexington Medical Center after a brief illness. He was a 1989 graduate of Edisto High School and later joined the United States Army. He attended Claflin University and South University. He was employed at Kimlor Mills, Suggs and Kelly Law Firm and Key Tone Lines. Ron was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church located in Cope, South Carolina. He leaves to cherish fond memories his father, JC Benjamin of Blackville, SC; two sisters, Bridget Benjamin of Orangeburg, SC and Candance (Kendrick) Fuller of Orangeburg, SC; one nephew, Kaleem Gilmore; two nieces, Keyonna and Karmen Fuller of Orangeburg, SC; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
