Funeral services for Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" Sanders will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, Blackville, South Carolina. Interment services will follow immediately at Blackville Cemetery. Viewing for the public will be held on Wednesday between the hours of 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be no viewing at the church on the day of the service. Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" Sanders was born August 22, 1954 in Barnwell County, South Carolina. He was the son of the late William Henry Sanders, Sr. and Willie Mae Sanders. Ronnie completed his education at Blackville Hilda High School in 1972. Ronnie was known as "Slick" to many of his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two older brothers, Dennis and William. He leaves to cherish loving memories - a son, Devere Williams; four sisters: Catherine Sanders of Los Angeles, California, Lelia Grayson and Thomas Ann Sanders of Blackville, South Carolina and Marcella (Rodney) Lillard of Grand Rapids, Michigan; three brothers: Ernest (Georgia) Sanders of Detroit, Michigan and James Martin (Evonia) Sanders and Elverest Sanders of Blackville, South Carolina; three grandchildren, one aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.
