Rose Ann Salley Nickens was born in Bamberg County, South Carolina on November 30, 1941.  She  entered into eternity on November 20, 2019 at her home, after an extended illness.  She was the daughter of the late Hezikiah Salley and Cellie Sanders Salley.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Nickens with whom she married on August 12, 1958.  George passed away on July 23, 2004.  She is also preceded in death by her siblings Ishmell, Clary Lee, Joe Nathan, Mary, Epson, Odell, and Willy.

Rose Ann grew up in Bamberg County.  Early in life, she joined Hutto Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and remained there as a faithful member.  She was also an active member who performed many duties within the church.  Her duties included her serving as president of the young adult choir and usher board as well as a member of the Missionary Board.
