Funeral services for the late Ms. Ruby Williams will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11:00 am at Dash's Funeral Home Chapel, 12409 Heritage Hwy., Bamberg, South Carolina. Interment services will follow immediately at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Bamberg, South Carolina.
Mrs. Ruby Mae Williams was born on February 23, 1940 to the late Bessie Lee Butterfield and the late Laddie Dowling. She departed this life on March 8, 2017.
Ruby Mae was educated in the public schools of Bamberg, South Carolina.
She was baptized at Progressive Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Ruby Mae Williams was born on February 23, 1940 to the late Bessie Lee Butterfield and the late Laddie Dowling. She departed this life on March 8, 2017.
Ruby Mae was educated in the public schools of Bamberg, South Carolina.
She was baptized at Progressive Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ruby Mae worked for Bamberg Textile Mill and Bamberg School District One for many years.
She met and married the late Harry Williams Jr.
She is preceded in death by three sons John Lewis, Timothy and Albert D. Williams.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: a son, Ernest (Darlene) Williams of Bamberg, SC; daughters, Ruby Lee Summers of the home and Connie Jyles of Irvine, CA; sisters, Bessie (Monroe) Dibble of Cordova, SC, Mary R. (Arthur) Montgomery of Denmark, SC, Sadie (William) Davis of Denmark, SC, Hattie Folks of Cordova, SC, Daisy Rumph of Bamberg, SC, Annie M. Rumph of Orangeburg, SC, Barbara A. Glover of Greenville, SC and Jacolyn (Curtis) Samuel of Columbia, SC; three brothers, Dan Rumph of Denmark, SC, Mack Rumph of Bamberg, SC and Laddie Dowling, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC; grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
She met and married the late Harry Williams Jr.
