It was the beautiful smile that she'd wear, the humorous nature she'd bear, the loving disposition, and helping hand shared. She was very giving and caring . This is how we remember Rutha Mae Donaldson-Jackson today. For she indeed touched our lives in such a very special way.

She entered this earthly life December 16, 1941 a beloved daughter of the late Mr. James and Georgia Mae Huggins-Donaldson in Bamberg County, South Carolina. Rutha Mae enter  eternal rest on Monday, July 5, 2021 Aiken Regional Medical Center.

Rutha Mae received her educational training and upbringing at Mount Zion School.
At an early age Rutha Mae joined Mount Zion Baptist Church of Lees, South Carolina.

A good provider, she was dedicated employee of Healing Spring Nursing Home in Blackville, South Carolina for 42 years.

Mrs. Rutha Mae Jackson was blessed with six offspring a son Robert L. Donaldson, a daughter Anelia Jackson, and a grand son Jeffrey Corley Jr. proceed her in death.

Those who shared life joy with her and who will always cherish found memories are her children Dietrich (Sinceree) Jackson-Ashley of Columbia SC, Ronnie (Lucia) Jackson of Blackville SC, Eric Smalls Sr. of Savannah Ga, Christopher (Darolyn) Jackson of Williston SC raised in the home Ernest  Priester of Columbia, SC. Florrie (Herman) Singleton, Ruby (Samuel) Orr Timothy (Karen) Smalls, Douglas (Lavenia) Smalls, Wesley Smalls, Brian Smalls all of Savannah Ga.
Two sisters Carolyn Bracey and Willie Mae Donaldson of Blackville SC. Six brothers Dan Donaldson, Goldie Donaldson, Jimmie Donaldson all of Blackville SC. Harry Donaldson of Alabama, Elijah Donaldson of Attapugus Ga Robert Dyches of Denmark SC.  Six Grandchildren, four Great grandchildren a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and sorrowing friends are all left behind to cherish her precious memories.
