S hawntel Maurice Smith , son of the late Leroy and Artha Mae Smith, was born on October 6, 1974 and entered into eternal rest on August 28, 2019.

He attended the public schools in Denmark, South Carolina.

Shawntel loved long distance trucking with his father.

Shawntel was adventurous and loved meeting new people.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Smith.

Cherishing Shawntel's memories are - two sisters: Sherry (Bruce) Thompson and Lafaye (Keith) Bias; one brother, Leroy (Sherri) Smith, Jr.; nieces: Laporchia Mixon, Hailey Smith, Jaliyah Hightower, Janiyah Hightower and Ava Moreno; nephews: Antonio Smith, Aaron Downing, Alexander Smith, Amaris White, Armani White, Zackery Smith, Montana Smith, Roman Moreno and Sebastian Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
