On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Sherry (Cheryl) Lynn Rowe peacefully entered eternal rest at her home in Bamberg, South Carolina, and was called from labor to reward, entering into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Sherry was born on July 16, 1968, in Bamberg County, South Carolina, to the late Mr. George (Bubba) Rowe, Jr. and Mrs. Patricia Ann Rowe. She was educated in the public schools of Bamberg County, where she developed a foundation for a life marked by love, devotion, and quiet strength. Her commitment and dedication to serving others were demonstrated through 15 years of employment at Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

At an early age, she joined St. John Baptist Church, where she received spiritual guidance and nurturing. Her faith remained an essential part of her life. In her adult years, she faithfully attended Lively Stone Temple Apostolic Ministries, continuing her walk with Christ and drawing strength from her relationship with Him.

Sherry will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her enduring love for family, and the light she brought into the lives of those who knew her. Though her earthly presence has ceased, the warmth of her love and the legacy of her life will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her devoted lifelong partner, Darryle Dewayne Richardson, Sr. of Bamberg, South Carolina; two children: Jasmine Nashay Rowe of Bamberg, South Carolina, and Darryle Dewayne Richardson, Jr. of Bronx, New York; two sisters: Barbara Ann Key of Hanover, Maryland, and Patricia Elaine Rice of Bamberg, South Carolina; three aunts: Daisy Bell Sease of Ehrhardt, South Carolina; Mary Britt of Branchville, South Carolina; and Gussie Mae (Raymond) Brown of Bamberg, South Carolina; one uncle, Jessie Johns, Sr. of Walterboro, South Carolina; two grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Adreonna Shayne Riley of the home; one niece and a host of nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
